    Get yer tats out

Well not quite, but how about show us the tattyest, most rubbish horological mistakes you’ve ever bought.
Just found this bad boy in a draw, £2 bargain from the bay of tat. Oddly I thought I could use the bracelet on something else I was cobbling together, oh how wrong was I.

Does it work? What do the pushers do? Is it really a perpetual calendar? So many questions...

I'm guessing one changes the month (and it doesn't change automatically) and the other the day. Had a Rotary that was like that.

I've got an Umbro branded 'chronograph'. Utterly horrid.

There's quite a lot going on there. Nice to see you appear to have kept the cellophane wrapper on the bracelet to prevent any unwanted scuffs or scratches.

It looks very similar to a fake Breitling I saw in Thailand.

There are absolutely no functions at all!
Nothing works or lines up. I’m going to open it up this weekend and have a look at the movement, see if I can coax it into life.

That is odd, I thought the AD would remove that at the same time as keeping hold of the warentee card!

I like how the '12' on the OP's watch is wonky!

I'm not proud of either of these

but at least I realised the Benarus was a mistake straight away & never actually wore it.

I wore the Leandri quite a bit for a while

Looks like most breitling’s to me, mate of mine has just done £7498 more on something very similar.

Not many people have a watch with their surname on it, unless you happen to be Jimmy Rolex or Dave Brietling.

Saw it on e-bay and bought it as a bit of fun. Did some research and it turns out that they were an American company and the Watch probably dates to the late 50s or early 60s. Seems they fell out with Watch authorities on a few occasions by putting 25 jewels on 17 jewel movements and declaring the watches as Swiss when the movements were bulk purchased from the Far East.

34mm watch, so normal for the day, but Small by today's standards.

How about this ratty little collect of spares/repairs Citizens. Not a moving part between them and more verdigris under he lugs than a copper bottomed boat. I'd throw them in the bin if I didn't think they would reappear on eBay!
(I was trying, unsuccessfully, to source a crystal for one of my old watches)

They looked OK (ish) in pictures, but they were cheap and nasty things in the metal. I had two to my eternal shame; a Moray in chrome (classy) and a Sea Devil with a blue dial.

    We were all young once!
