    Interesting choice.

    I'm not sure that it works though - it might be a bit too fussy. Perhaps thats because an oyster bracelet or strap is most associated with the Explorer.

    It's a no from me. Doesn't look bad, but doesn't look right either.

    I quite like it but I am a fan of a shark mesh bracelet so it's a Yeah from me.

    I like a mesh too, but they work best on divers. That's maybe just my own personal rule.

    Everest + leather for me. Don't think the mesh suits it at all.

    This. Mesh is quite out of place on this style of watch.

    I agree that it doesn’t look right, but is there an expert in design or aesthetics than can explain exactly why it doesn’t look right?

    “It looks a bit busy” is fine, but I’m interested in a more detailed analysis.

    Mesh...

    Mesh = large vintage diver.

    Oyster = Explorer.

    IMHO

    I think that the classic Explorer design is simple and straightforward. The relative simplicity of an Oyster bracelet or plain strap compliments it well, to an extent blending into the background and letting the watch stand out. A mesh bracelet with its many point of reflection and construction of numerous small parts can to some degree act as a distraction to the watch itself in my view.

    I contend there isn't a strap the Everest doesn't look great on, and this hasn't changed my opinion.

    Everest on a Brady Sailcloth for me. I don't really like this watch on its bracelet.

    Bang on target there. Lovely combination.

    I quite like it actually. I have always wanted to see the everest on one of those "elastic" metal bracelets (I hope that explains what I mean! I can't think of another way to describe it.) maybe I will try one when my everest comes back to me.
