It's a pretty stupid abbreviation to use, though, as Eddie has explicitly said that Sales Corner is for the sale of any item, not just watches, so it's impossible to be Off Topic.
Thanks to the OP for asking the question - I’d been wondering the same thing - and thanks for this answer.
I agree it’s a redundant abbreviation, which means I would never have guessed that was it.

Going to dealer tomorrow = dealer is giving me 800 less than I have it offered for here. No chance he is getting it.

This is a rare watch = common enough watch and I am over pricing it. This is usually accompanied with comments from people (who have the same watch) saying it a steal all in the vain hope their watch is appreciating rapidly (see every railmaster thread ever).

    Same as 'Bargain Alert'.

    "Last bump before eBay"

"Look, you lot. I'm warning you! If you don't buy it I'll flog it to that den of thieves and vagabonds and you'll never see it again".

    OR

"I'm going to keep bumping this, but I'll delete the previous bump every time so it doesn't look as though I'm desperate to get rid of this piece of junk"
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

WTD = I always assume it means “want to donate” but I’m invariably disappointed when I open the thread.

“Homage” = Shameless copy of a more popular brand/model.

You should also know that redux apparently has a special meaning when used in Sales Corner quite different from its dictionary definition.

So it’s not “Want To Die”

What do you think it's worth? = a post from someone trying to sell something but does not have enough posts to access sales corner
Now I've got this out of the safe I've decided to keep it = this sales post is not going well

And my favourite is always "this is a funds raising exercise but will consider the following watches as trades" - normally followed by a list of more expensive watches. That's an example of an oxymoron

    Sales corner abbreviations?

BNWT - Brand New With tags (bought with no intention of wearing in the hope of making a profit).
