One to avoid?
at first i thought it was the light but in all 3 pics there looks to be an issue with the hour hand? it looks like the side 1/5th has been folded or damaged in some way.
Just looks like a typical generic SD/SUB type watch. There are so many made by so many companies.
You should ask them for another picture to show the hour hand is not damaged
Looks ok to me

It’s the light. Often happens when I take a pic. Where is tool kit though ?

It’s this one I think: https://www.ukvintagewatches.co.uk/
I haven’t heard of them before.
Looks a lovely watch. I hope it all checks out for you.
i stand corrected
weird that it looked like that from all 3 angles!
Although it looks fine, I'd ask for a couple of images of the bracelet with regards to stretch. These bracelets can suffer.
As I don't have the ability to post in SC on this forum what is the protocol on mentioning a watch a may or may not have for sale?
Just so let you guys know, I picked the watch up this morning. It is absolutely mint, with no signs that it has ever been polished.
Overall, a very happy customer.
Oh and the hour hand wasn't damaged

Nice pick up.
Glad your happy with it.
One thing I have noticed is that I can't see the etched coronet at six o'clock. Now this watch is a K serial 2002 model. Should I be concerened about this, or did the laser etching come in at a later date?
If I listen closely to the watch it does seem to be running a very high frequency of operations per second, which I would expect.
Thanks
You will hear "tink tink tink" from the movement as apposed to "tick tick tick"
It looks nice, but get a picture of the clasp. Many nice cases are matched up with over-polished clasps.
The clasp looks perfect. I can't tell if one of the lugs has been polished a little bit, but it looks like a really nice example.
Great watch wear in good health
I'm beginning to think that this might be your first Rolex,,
"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action."
'Populism, the last refuge of a Tory scoundrel'.
Looks a really great example. Enjoy it and don’t get caught up in worrying about the minutiae.
^ this.
It's a stunner and I really hope to have one of these one day. Enjoy it!
Had/have a couple of these and to me that is a very nice example, they are one of the best Rolex sport watches bar none and feel fantastic on the wrist, good luck with your purchase I am sure you will be very pleased.
It has definitely had a polish once, but well done. Enjoy!
FairPlay for doing your best to get info before diving in and messing up your first Rolex purchase!!
From my untrained eye it looks stunning so just enjoy it!
Once it’s on your wrist and there’s no reasons to sell it then previous polish and over done edges etc etc won’t matter!!
Chris
Thanks for the comments guys, really enjoying this one on the wrist. I was concerned about it feeling too small since l came from an Omega PO 45.5mm, but the size is just perfect.

Well done that man, I love the weight of these, just enough to let you know you are wearing a bit of quality but not too heavy to dislocate your wrist.
