Chopard question.

As a departure from the basel frothery...

...the wife has taken a shine to a model in Chopards happy sports range (model not important - l am in no way interested in anyone's opinion of the brand or its watches).

What quality are the diamonds in these watches in terms of grade? Google not proving to be immediately fruitful...

Chopard state on their website they only use exceptional clarity IF and VS, with colours D to G.

If the diamonds are free floating as per some happy variants, I’d bet they were probably VS G as there is a layer of crystal ‘hiding’ them, if visible on the case, perhaps higher quality.

The fact they don’t state would push me towards a lower spec, but they’re certainly not low end, unless they are differentiating between jewellery and watches without commenting, which would be very poor.
