Hi all,
A first world problem which is why I’d like to get some people’s thoughts on here about.
I am thinking about straight swapping my 2013 Rolex Daytona bi-metal from 2013, for a Deepsea James Cameron Deepblue.
My Daytona is the discontinued Panda face dail with everything with it.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Do I stick or twist? 🤤
Cheers all.

Very different watches but if your wrist is big enough to take a DeepSea I’d go for it.
Another here who is not a fan of the Daytona so I would say do it.....
I have had a black DSSD since May last year which is more often than not my daily wearer and thanks to marksh procured a JC in January. The black is one hell of a watch and I love it but the JC is really something else, you would not be disappointed.
Lots a grumbles on how the DSSD wears but once the bracelet is adjusted correctly the watch wears fantastic, you simply can not just pop it on for two minutes and form a view.
It you find yourself on the east coast I can grab them home for a try.
Pitch
I`d have to agree with all the above, I haven`t yet seen a Daytona that appeals to me but the Deepblue certainly floats my boat.
I have bought a 2018 Rolex 114060 which arrived in February - thought I may get a bit bored but they are very different I supppose?
I had the 114060 and found it a bit boring. Picked up a deep blue middle of last year and has been my favourite watch since - but you need to try one on. Then picked up a ceramic Daytona last week and love that too - but very different watches and very different sizes. It can only come down to personal preference and of course the size of your wrist!
Did not like the Daytona until I tried it on..........
Swapping a 2013 Rolex Daytona bi-metal from 2013, for a Deepsea James Cameron Deepblue ?
My immediate impression is that you are swapping one fugly watch for another fugly watch.
^^ glad you felt the need to comment ^^
...if you can’t say anything nice...
If you can't say anything honest / critical you will end up becoming a pointless ego massaging sycophant.
I am currently wearing a Rolex 39mm Explorer. If you want to tell me it is fugly or a load of rubbish, then fine, it's only an opinion. I will not be upset.
The man asked for an independent opinion, he got one. It is an opinion on a watch, it's nothing personal.
Can’t see the point in asking the question.......if you think it’s a good idea do it.
Keep the slimmer watch. More comfy, more manageable and more status if thats your bag.
Whenever I read threads about the Cameron Deep Sea for some reason I always imagine the wearer/owner talking IN CAPITAL LETTERS AND TELLING EVERYONE HOW GREAT HIS WATCH IS AND THAT JAMES CAMERON HAS ONE AND THAT THE BRACELET DOESN'T MATTER AND THAT IT FITS WELL IF YOU HAVE IT SIZED.
But I never have that impression from Daytona owners unless they refer to it as a Dayto. Then I think of them as a certain part of a females anatomy...

Both watches are very nice, not what I'd call fugly however for me it has to be the Daytona

As quite a few people mentioned think first thing to think about is the size difference. Tried on a friends Daytona on Wednesday,
was wearing my 16710 GMT, and was surprised how small it wore in comparison so think DS going to seem huge.
Read again old chap.
