I just saw that while browsing the Tudor site. I'm not a great fan of the cyclops on a Rolex, so this is definitley a good alternative.

I prefer that to the Rolex. Nicer bracelet.

That is ridiculously nice beside the new GMT Master II. If only it was a fraction smaller...

Much nicer than the Rolex and it looks nigh on perfect to me.

Is the hour hand the quick adjust on this? If so, it’s a very nice offering.

On the other thread they said the functionality works the same way as the Rolex GMT II, if that answers your question....?

Very nice. I’m a big fan of Tudor, great to me they’re not Rolex and you can actually buy them for reasonable money and they have nicer looking cases to boot.

Interesting that they release a ‘pepsi’ when Rolex release a steel Pepsi gmt. You’d think they may be concerned the Tudor may take away sales from the Rolex?

What am I saying, people are probably foaming at the mouth and entering 3 year waiting lists for the privilege of having parts of their watch kept back when you’ve finally been allowed to buy. Nice to think you’ll (hopefully) be able to stroll into a store, see a Tudor Pepsi gmt and purchase it though.

I really like that. I picked up a BB bronze last year and it is a lovely piece. The big crown look really works, the only think that I dislike is the edge of the bezel. Would prefer a bigger machining (If that is the correct term?).
Looking forward to trying one in the near future.

That's bloody lovely- I was concerned that they were bringing out way too many BB Models, thought oh here comes another one, clicked and it blew me away, stunning watch......

Is that not why they've done it? You go into your local AD only to be told that the order book is closed, but "oh look we have a plentiful supply of our sister brand's versions!".

Wonder if there is special sales training on how to move potential customers from one brand to the other?

Love it. Just ordered don't think the list will be too big for it as all the Hypebeasts will want the Rolex

I think the GMT looks great. I am almost surprise by the price also. Perfect for me as I have given up on ever affording a GMT-Master 2

I am on a list with the local AD who are apparently heading to Basel tomorrow to place orders, having not bought from them in years I don't have very high hopes though.
It would be nice if availablity was not too limited.

  18. #18
Oh now thats nice, finally Tudor do a GMT, I'll be having one of those...

Far nicer than the Rolex and at that price it's a steal

  20. #20

Very nice indeed. Tudor have really upped their game in the last 12-18 months IMHO.

I also really like this watch... I've been hoping Tudor do a gmt for a while!!! Quick question would the bracelet from the gmt also fit my ETA BB RED?
As I only have the leather strap version and it would save me money by being interchangeable!! If by saving money I mean spending another 2750 on a watch

Both the gmt and 58 black bays are really nice. Can't wait to talk to my AD tomorrow morning.

That’s actually a very good point.

One thing I don’t get about the Rolex ‘Pepsi’ is the red & ‘blue’ bezel, looks like purple to me rather than blue. Guess that’s the ceramic colouring process making blue tricky but the Tudor bezel looks a better colour to my eye.

Impressive watch, Tudor are definitely upping their game and this will be a seller for sure.
The rivet bracelet is very nice too 👍

If it's the usual BB mid case, the previous (better looking) non-rivet bracelet fits.

    I’m wondering the same actually.

Looks great. I hope it’s no thicker than the 14.8(?) mm in-house Black Bay.

The GMT looks nice enough but I’m not sure about a 39mm version if they keep the thickness the same..

    New Tudor GMT

I think this is stunning. I've been considering a pelagos but this is definitely swaying me.

Surprisingly, I really like the look of that. Never a Tudor fan, but this might convert me. Depending how the colours would look in real life.

Good to see this comes with 2 straps in addition to the bracelet....

A 39mm version of this would have been PERFECT. Hopefully this is something they'll do in future.

Will definitely give this a test drive on my puny wrists anyway.

The snowflake on the GMT hand doesn't work at all for me. Its interaction with the hour markers is a mess.

    This watch is fire!!!

Smaller black bay black looks so so good. Like the blue dial black bays too. Tudor are having an incredible Baselworld.

I’ve been circling a red bezel BB for a while that GMT is an immediate purchase on the bracelet. The text on the site is unclear are they including the fabric strap with the watch or is it a choice of bracelet or leather or fabric?

I've heard it's now a choice between one of the three.

Thanks, that’s what I suspected. The additional strap in the BB was a bargain, hopefully when this hits the streets the AD will add it to the deal.

Agreed. I’m not a fan of the snowflake hands and circular lume pots anyway. But the clunky square GMT thing looks awful.

The fact of a Tudor GMT is creating a fever because people have been dreaming of one for so long! I think people are overlooking some of this models flaws.

Sorry to say +1 on that from me. I just can’t get passed the snowflake and square GMT. But then - I’ll probably have to see it for real before completely writing it off.
