So so how exactly does this work?

Lie detector, assessment of dress sense/style, Vulcan mind probe?

    Jeez.

Xxxl Barbour or belstaff, expensive denim jeans with cheaney brogues, iphone x and an mx5 keyring should do it, but ffs don't wear anything other than a Rolex!

They may well be boring and their clothing may also be boring but they have the watch that others want.

Simple fact is that they walk out with a watch which typically has a waiting list of 30 plus.

Not so boring now are they.

    Regards

    Mick

I have come to watch ownership later in life than some and it feels like I’ve missed the boat when it comes to building up a history with an AD. That said I like the TT root beer so that might be easier to pick up.

1 ad has put me on a list said it'll be 2-3 years wait. I've purchased 2 popular sports from them before and haven't flipped them

The other AD had put me on a list of 30 people. Quite near the top. I purchased my wife's 36mm PM datejust from them at xmas, and also my mum purchased one too from them along with a friend. I think is this going to be my best chance

Typical! About as far away from me as it’s possible to be in the UK!
