Is the black bay GMT a true GMT, or one where you can only adjust the bezel and the 24 hour hand. A Rolex GMT allows independent adjustment of the main hour hand which is the only way I like them.

As I said above, true GMT with independent hour hand.

    It's out of the park

It’s a true GMT. The website has a guide as to how it’s done.

It's true - same as the Rolex.

Wow amazing in that case, I now like it a lot, although at 41mm, it may not wear too well on me

    Knew you would love it.

I'm not a fan of red and i thought the Pelagos would get a GMT complication.

I see what they've done. They have removed the "comes with two straps" deal to keep it competitive. Think I might have to buy this

I have mixed feelings about this BB GMT... Is it a diver or a GMT watch, why mix it? Also why release Tudor and Rolex pepsi the same time? Did the feel threatened by that Tag?

And that leather strap version feels just...wrong.

The Tudor GMT is simply amazing.
So much closer to the original Rolex gmt.
No crown guards, alum bezel insert, river bracelet.
Couldn’t have made it any better...

Reminds me of the 2012 Olympics special edition, which was almost a mixture of the two.

Wow, you can really see Victoria Beckham's influence on the Tudor 1926!
The GMT snatches victory from the jaws of defeat however.

Yeah, that Tudor Pepsi GMT looks fantastic and a great price point too! With my BLNR it would be a better alternative to the Rolex Pepsi too I think. I do love GMTs...

Might need to sell off a piece or 2 and make room for it... good grief. This hobby. Why did I ever start it...

    Wowzers.

Really liking this and not only is far cooler than the Rolex version, its 40% of the price and despite apparent strong interest, at least us mere mortals are likely to be able to buy one!!

Does the font used on the bezel have any history of note?

Apparently Tudors should hit the shops at the end of Aug. With luck they remember to give me a call.

Anyone spotted a thickness for the Black Bay 58? The most recent 70hr version of the Black is 14.8mm I think, wondering if this has maintained its proportions or got a little short and fat. Tough to tell from the photos.

  36. #86
Dunno about the Tudor, something looks off - may need to see it in the flesh. Can't say why. On the other hand the jubilee GMT is an absolute winner

    New movement and design upgrade:
"The watch of the deep is equipped with the cutting-edge calibre 3235 and introduces a redesigned case with a broader bracelet and resized Oysterlock folding safety clasp."

Given that there's virtually no difference between a Rolex Sub and a GMT it makes sense to me. The Tudor GMT is the perfect holiday watch, in fact it's pretty perfect all round.

True GMT, good water resistance, vintage looks with modern spec, in house movement, good power reserve, date...

It's going to be very popular.

According to Tudor’s instagram, the BB58 is available globally in July.

Here’s the latest wrist shot from Tudor’s instagram. Hard to tell height, but I’m hopeful it’s thinner than the 41mm versions!!

I completely agree there is something off about the Tudor GMT. To me, I think it has a cheap look to it. Like someone modified a standard BB with some after market bezel.

Yea - i think its the bezel that looks off.

Why is there so much hate on the jubilee bracelet? Aren't these new ones much more robust than the older ones?

I’m sure the new ones are more robust. Not sure if the hate just comes from the distinctive look and connotations that come with the jubilee. Its design makes it very noticeable and I think can look garish in photos. I really want to get my grubby hands on this new jubilee though because I bet it feels exquisite.
