Looks like this broke free this afternoon, it's right up on the rocks at the top of the beach. That'll be an interesting recovery.

I just think of anybody at sea on days like this , wether working or not , and just think Kudos.
It's a bloody unforgiving environment.
Even diving off the North East coast in Summer is hit and miss , so God knows how people do it day in day out .

Ive seen the lifeboat guys and galls launch off from staithes in weather like that, top respect, the mush need a wheel barrow for their balls!

On a Dutch news site an article about houses in Hemsby nearly falling off the cliff.



I am not amazed; yesterday I went to the Dutch Delta and to get there you have to cross large patches of water (the Zeeland Brug / Zeeland Bridge across the Oosterschelde) the waves under the bridge were high and still had to travel all the way across the North Sea...
