I expect you’ll be inundated with replies.
Anyone had one? T version from 14/15 onwards.
Indeed; I for one have a couple for banger racing

Got one in the back yard as a chicken coop.
I keep one as a donor car in case I need any spares for the FFX.
Have you tried asking Mumsnet?
With your £1.3m CETV why not try one out and let us know?
Actually, don’t bother.
Try asking here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/fo...portofino.140/
Why, are you selling some dust caps for one?
What a sad individual you are.
Have you considered an MX5?
Mate has one, it replaced his Bentley GTC - he really likes it and it seems up to almost daily use in summer. I haven’t asked about running costs though.
It's just a matter of time...
My maid has one. It’s a company car. She tolerates it.
I had some bluetooth issues on the hands free. Had to let it go
Im sure a lot do. My mate isn’t a millionaire, he just really like his cars. I’m fairly sure if the running costs were astronomical he would be running a different expensive car.
I think the California could be a good future buy in Ferrari terms. The newer cars with long service included must surely affect the used prices of the slightly older models though?

How is insurance for that £750 a year? Yes have a diesel Audi A6 and I’m paying £1,500 a year insurance!

Meh, then what's the point?
Also, "Minimal depreciation if you choose the right car." Sure.
Also, hey, OP, I drew you a graph. (based on rough averages of the first few cars to come up for each year on Autotrader UK).
At what point are you thinking of getting on and off this £10k a year slide?
10k a year is better than most BMWs

California,
Have you driven one yet? Before you decide drive a 458 as well.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks. I am trying to shortlist cars for my next trip to the U.K. with a view to trying/buying then. I am not looking to get into an out-and-out sports car, rather a fast GT convertible. Hence the 458, which in any event is a tad pricey in Spider form, misses the target as does a McLaren. Other possibilities are a 991.2 Targa GTS4 (too safe), AMG GT Roadster (too brash), AM V12 Vanquish (a bit lardy). Not sure what else.
If you can, try a maclaren 650 or 720s, they are both better than the current Ferrari offerings but the 720 moves the game on, the clever suspension is something to experience, I'd say all of the other manufacturers are now playing catch up and you could use it every day if you wanted to.
Theres one for sale here

Did you say 650? This is rather nice, and local to me.

The 720 is getting a lot of rave reviews since Top Gear a couple of weeks ago. A real everyday useable Supercar
