    Seiko Bracelet Pins & Tubes - how bloody much?

    Just got off the phone with Seiko Service Centre - £3.80 for a pin & £6.90 EACH for a tube

    Doubt it even costs a penny to manufacture.

    How many do you need? I was missing a tube on my MM300 bracelet, I emailed Seiko UK and they sent me a couple out free of charge. Might be worth emailing them, maybe you’ll get a different response from someone else.

    I thought Seiko used to send stuff like this out for free? I'm sure I've read about them doing that in the past.

    Those prices make what Rolex (over)charge for a single oyster link seem almost like a bargain (that's a sentence I never thought I'd write...).

    They do (or at least did) in the USA. IIRC they sent three links and all the stuff to attach them, if you ask.

    As an update, Seiko UK said today they will issue free links within "a few months" if you've bought a new watch, subject to proof of purchase.
