The Rolex jubilee teaser is without any doubt a new gmt
That Jubilee bracelet appears to have a safety-lock clasp, which would suggest that it is intended for a professional model.
Main agents are otherwise being told not to expect anything earth-shattering from Rolex this year.

New gmt on jubilee - coke perhaps?
Or even the pepsi on jubilee - would get round the difference with the white gold.

The new omega may be a speedmaster racing with red colouring if rumours are correct elsewhere.

Never wanted a BLNR but a Coke/jubilee? Woohoo!
Rolex: WG GMT Coke (or even a Pepsi) on a jubilee.
(The Jubilee will be the 'big thing' if it's just a reincarnated Pepsi).

Well the mars rover must have been near a Speedie at some point so makes sense.
How about a Mars Attacks Speedmaster?
Wonder what the wait time on a jubilee gmt would be..... 5 years?
Please let it be something more interesting than a jubilee bracelet
Say on Wednesday, Rolex do announce a new stainless steel COKE GMT with a jubilee bracelet. Guessing that demand would be massive. They seem to be doing a great job of whetting the buying population's appetite.
What's the best way to get as high up on the waiting list at the local AD - email, phone call or walk-in? - i was planning on popping in on Wednesday lunchtime for that human touch, but am afraid i'll be way down the list by that point....
Any views?
Given that Coke GMT lists started at least last year, then you may be a little late already!
Omega is saying 'they are back'. I wonder what 'they' could be?

If they’re right, (and my caveat being that it’s SS) it’s gonna be as almost-impossible to source at list as a Daytona!!
Personally I think that in steel it would also kill off the BLNR though so my money’s still on a WG Coke on Jubilee..... (hence they’ve reportedly killed off the BLRO).
To be fair mate I do see your point and you could well be right but if it’s SS that’d be the BLNR and the LN on Oyster, and the Coke on Jubilee with only YG PM GMT variants??
Also though how do we know that the BLRO was a slow seller??
....I’ve read the same thing many a time on TRF but do we know how many were sold compared to the Smurf, and (I think?) that’s been around longer??
I still think it makes more ‘collection sense’ to replace the BLRO with something rather than kill off any WG GMT variant altogether but we’ll soon find out either way!!

I would bet on a coke SS GMT2 with a jubilee bracelet. Will be in Belfast tomorrow so will enquire if they have a list?
As to killing off the BLNR, they may discontinue that at the same time, which could see a SDc effect take place.
Suppose we will all know in a couple of days time.

THANK YOU! One of my pet peeves is hearing “product x was a slow seller” with no real evidence- we don’t know how many watches Rolex aims to sell of each model and it’s likely they have a different supply strategy for each model/ country too! They don’t just send the same number of all models to all shops- far far fewer Daytona’s, for instance. Maybe they intended for all shop windows in the uk to have a blro and sold many more than they hoped overall - nobody knows!
Anyway, I’d go along with the GMT being upgraded with a jubilee, although I am not sure whether that includes a coke model or simply a bracelet option. Being an owner of the 5 digit GMT means I wouldn’t be in the market anyway- I prefer the older models to the ceramic ones, personally. I also hope the submariner will get an upgrade with the new movement and hopefully the oysterflex as a cheaper option.
My 2p bet is as follows:
Rolex GMT in steel with Coke bezel on Jubilee bracelet on the basis that they have already done (not very well IMHO) the red and blue in 18ct.
Tudor Black Bay with Pepsi bezel as I don't think the steel bezel models have been as popular as the coloured bezels and they already do the Blue and Burgundy colours on the first versions.
Of course I'll be wrong..........
Quite interesting looking at that new Jubilee bracelet.
For me I just don't quite see the appeal of that design on a Rolex Professional watch just yet. I know the Jubilee seems popular with watch enthusiasts but whilst it is, of course, a classic the Oyster bracelet just looks more in keeping with a Sports biased watch design. IF they show that this week at Basel I hope there is at least an option for an Oyster bracelet but suspect not.....
I see a Jubilee bracelet and just see an old persons watch, albeit classy/classic etc.
