I was bored and digging around Chrono24 looking at birth year stuff and I came across this

It's a solid gold AP RO from 1982. It was originally supplied with a quartz movement but in 2015 the movement was replaced with a new AP automatic movement from the current Royal Oak line.
Out of my price range but it seems pretty good value for what it is

That's what I can't work out. From the pictures it looks like AP carried out the work. I'm tempted to think it should make it more valuable but I don't know the going rate for solid gold ROs from the early 80s is

I think it's 36mm which is a big part of the price.
