Working from home today - and keeping an eye on my ice skating daughter.

I know Bremont isn't universally loved, and I'm sceptic about their 'heritage' (and pricing strategy!), but I haven't been this impressed by a new watch in ages:

    Have a good one, everybody!

it is fairly easy to spot the aftermarket parts especially the dial of 6105 and in this case the bezel as well.

    Thanks.

Bracelet adjusted with no problem, but it's just a tiny bit tighter than I'd like, hence my WTB for another link. The price Blancpain want makes even PP look reasonable.

It was a real mess when I got it. The dial was beyond recognition. The repaint I commissioned was simply not good enough. I sourced the dial, hands and bezel from www.speedtimerkonnektion.com in Spain, and fitted them myself. I thought the dial was a pretty good repro, far better than a lot I looked at

At least it’s wearable now. It’ll look better once there’s some wear on the case. I had to strip it right back to get rid of some bad marks.

Aviastar all week, but off the very shiny bracelet and onto one of the strap options I have been trying out - a Hadley-Roma Cordura. But...note to self, the canvas material is a fluff magnet! HAGWE.

Give me a chance, it's just the second time I've worn it! I've only 22mm natos to hand, as my watches are mainly 20mm, so need to pick something up. I'll move it up my to do list!

Currently on holiday and subject to sunshine, warm winds and a great cocktail list. Wearing my usual holiday cheapie, a Kahuna quartz. It saves me worrying about the quality of hotel safes and unwanted attention if I wander off the beaten track. We have someone house-sitting for us but due to the weather, they haven't been past the front door this week! For those of you out on the roads today, slow down and be safe. HAGWE!!!
