First spruce up of 2018 (car)

As the sun came out today and the temperature rose to a reasonable level I decided to give the car a clean up

After quite a lot of huffing and puffing I thought I'd post a few pics

Anyone else taken the opertunity to get their polish out?

All I've done today is switch on the spellchecker on my phone.

Looks in great nick and I love the solid light greyish. You've more patience and will than me for car cleaning - last week I could only muster the effort to give mine a quick foam and hose down, hard to justify more when I know by Wednesday it will be covered in sh*t again.

Strange this. I did missus's earlier in the day but wash and wax combined.

Freezing here today, i am tempted to clean my white Abarth, knackered my back last week doing it and i've only just got it right.

Living in the sticks it will be filthy in a few days, determined to keep on top of it this year.

Cheers all, I am very casual about cleaning cars, I used to know people who would spend days and days doing it, I use meguires nxt wash and then tech wax which gives decent results and is easy to use

I spent a few hours cleaning inside the engine bay and waxing the hidden areas and it takes forever to get in and around the diffuser/exhause but the akropovic is worthy of a clean now and again

Also did inside but need to go over the alcantara again with a brush later on

Very nice. I did my car yesterday morning so today we went for a spot of lunch at The Pipe and Glass in Beverley and a nice, progressive sprint! In the sunshine!

Looks good. If you fancy ever quicker results with less effort try Gyeon Wetcoat or CarPro Hydro2/Hydro2 Lite. Spray on jet wash off and all done.

I for one have spent days going through the whole detailing process and then glazing and waxing every couple of weeks but now after polishing I just use these every few months until it’s polished and this is just once a year.
