    1675/1680

Bought a couple of old Rolex's in the last year or so and I've tried to tidy them up with some period correct bits & bobs. Changed out the sub service insert for a mk3 and swapped the 93150 for a correct 1970 clasp stamped 9315.

On the 1675 less work needed, just swapped service insert for nice red-back and got the end links fixed so i could get its original oval-link jubilee back on rather than the NATO i've been wearing it on.

Turned out reasonably well i think and they're getting plenty wear, thought this would be a decent place to share the results. Thanks to MarcJ for the bits & pieces.

I always admire a restoration. The GMT on the jubilee is a childhood obsession from when I salivated on the windows of mappin and Webb.

Yeah i agree on the jubilee front, mine is the original one unrestored so it has a lovely vintage stretch to it, not for everyone but i think it makes it.

Two very different Rolex sports watches, the 1675 on Jubilee will always be my favourite though. What a cracking pair!
