A couple of miles from my house in a busy street is a legal, licences sex club, very discreet, from outside Just looks like a regular house or Office. It’s been open 2 years Friday,Saturday and Sunday nights, ever since it opened an elderly gentleman has stood outside with a few home made signs saying it’s a sin.
If he didn’t stand there 95% of the people driving past wouldn’t even know it was there, I just drove past 21.30 hrs, it’s 2 degres so cold but there he is. I’ve seen him standing there in rain, snow and wind.
So my question, do I admire him for really standing up for what he believes in? Or just laugh because he is wasting his life and will achieve nothing?

I'd admire him for standing up for what he believes. Its obviously a protest to shut it down. So he has an end goal. Whether its achieved or not shouldn't take anything away from his dedication.

I think it's a mixture between determination and blindness. Even if you believe in something, you should question yourself why nobody cares about it?

A licences sex club
For £20 they'll rub you down with a TV licence.
For £45 they'll do it with a colour TV licence.
For £75 it'll be a driving licence (someone else's, as you could rub yourself with your own at home for free and that's called something different).
But if you're feeling really flush, for £150 they'll rub you a against the paperwork of a criminal that is out on licence.

I think that the concept of 'Sin' is a hoot. Standing outside, because what someone else is doing inside might possibly upset his imaginary friend, might make someone like me think that he needs to get a life....

To the OP... is this a 'University' town? Where we are, if ANY establishment like that crops up, it ends up being vandalised and spray painted by the 'righteous' students until they close down.
Do you need a license to have sex now?
It will probably be like my fishing license, whereby I buy an annual license and only go fishing twice?
