I hope I'm not being unduly rude, but it looks like in this case, your wife has more taste than you!

Still got it on retention, I had 5 cars and I'm down to 2 now, so F11GLY and WOB11Y are both on paperwork.

It certainly isn't beautiful, but it does have an endearing quirkyness about them.

    It's minus 2 outside.

The instructions do warn you that the watch will be affected buy your body temperature.

It goes on to say that to take an accurate reading, please remove you watch and leave it at ambient temperature for about 30 minutes!

That's almost like saying that if you want to know the correct time, please call the Tokyo talking clock.

Same with my much more recent Casio Protrek! The temp reading is really not very useful for that very reason. Also, the one time I've actually left it outside to assess the temperature, it was so cold it didn't allow the function to be used!

Or perhaps the Ulysse Nardin Hourstriker Erotica Jarretiere watch. Just goes to show where their enterprising minds are at.

    It's a great watch.
I used to have the old Robot, like this one.

I still have one of these with a gunmetal dial, but the Crystal is cracked and needs a battery.
