I have a longines that is 21mm lug to lug and it needs new spring bars. Is it as simple as buying spring bars that claim to be 21mm? Also, any brand recommendation?

So do you buy 22mm bars? I know Omega supply longer spring bars with straps, so I'd play safe and get 22mm.
I've a 70s Longines and I think it needs slightly curved bars due to the shape of the case and location of the lug holes. Worth checking yours just in case, as whilst straight spring bars may fit, the thickness of the strap may prevent you from mounting them.
On I'll check them out and go 22mm. Assume the ends are all the same diameter?
I wouldn't. If the lug width is 21mm then use 21mm bars. Using a size bigger is asking for trouble and can lead to lug damage as removal is more troublesome. AFAIK the Omega bars for straps aren't a size larger, they just have a slightly longer bead and shorter for the bracelet version.

Ok ta. I'll measure the diameter of my current ones for the other measurements I need.
If it's a modern Conquest by chance, then 21mm spring bars sounds correct.
So these would work?

Well yes. they look perfect but if you are UK based cousins will be cheaper and more reliable. Cousins product code L1943721 is 20 of those for 95p.
