I do like that. What size case is it?
Bought this yesterday.
NOS and complete with box so I couldn't refuse. New battery fitted by the seller (and left a couple of marks on the back grrr) and running well.
Nice threepenny bit shaped case, a Zenith feature in the past, looks modern and really great on the wrist.
From when being quartz was a selling point!
I'm guessing early '80's, anyone know any better?
Who likes this kind of thing?
Cheers,
Neil.

That is VERY nice, great catch with box, etc.
I have been told by a Zenith collector that particular logo was last used in 1982, so prior to that and probably later than 1978 (can't remember his reasoning behind the 1978 date), and mine below uses a Movado movement, possibly yours does too.
Couple more pics with the box.
Had the chance of a couple more thin dressy NOS GP Zeniths with the tags and original straps but they were a bit slim/small for me.
Cheers,
Neil.
A nice interesting catch.
Like the case.
I didn't know Zenith did quartz so thank you for the post.
I think all the 'classic' watch makers had a go at one point, before it became a dirty word and marketing people realised you could con people into buying more expensive watches that they could also sell expensive servicing on the pretext of them somehow being 'better'.
I have an Espada automatic (70s style) but it doesn't have the thruppeny-bit case - That is rather cool!

Its great to see NOS stock, I found this in a drawer recently, Croton Terrestrial, genuinely forgot I had it, the module is knackered but maybe one day Ill find a working one to transplant.
Nasty cheap quality watch but cool in a kitch way. $225 when new whenever that was, late 70s at a guess.

Solid State timekeeping, I love it!
225 dollars was a fair bit of money back then Jason, new technology wasn't cheap. I've got a similar watch that belonged to a great uncle who passed away that has the original receipt and that was pretty expensive too.
Hope you find a replacement module.
Cheers,
Neil.
Wow....that is nice M!
