Now that's what I call an adventure! Memories for a lifetime.
I have had a few TVR's in the past, and rarely had a problem. I do think this guy was quite brave though, but what an experience!

So clever my foot fell off.
Still a very cool looking car. The design has aged very well.
Puts mine and my dad's North Coast 500 in a 20 year old Lotus Elise to shame!
TVR are so cool there has an AD in my towns high street and I would go to and site in them as a 12 year old so so cool!!!!!
Still wouldn’t buy one because it would break!!!!

Got all the way to Venice and back in mine back in 1993
Not a single hitch at all and 30+ mpg from it over 3100 miles
Had 4 TVR’s and covered over 150k between them.. including track days, and 3 years doing the TVR sprint championship.
I had 2 breakdowns that left me stranded. The thermostat on my 92 4.3 BV Griff stuck shut, and the coil on my 500 Griff failed.
He is a very brave man not only doing it in TVR but driving through Mexico, now that's insane.

Third party products. Even the best quality parts can fail.
I installed a brand new Hella relay in a car; older British cars came without a headlight relay. The first trip, the lights failed, the fuse was okay. I turned out to be a faulty Hella! Go figure.
20,000 miles listening to TVR sound track.....love it.
Fantastic
I’ve been following his progress throughout the journey. It’s been great to see.
I’ve got a Chimaera that’s done 100k miles and (so far, touch wood) hasn’t put a foot wrong.
(For balance, I did have a different chimaera about 20 years ago that was a very different story...)
