    GROVES V EUBANK

Anyone watching tonight ? Should be a cracker. But I think it’s been under promoted tbh
Anyway my prediction is a Eubank win. Stoppage round 5

Groves is the real deal. Eubank is a showman whose videos look great on the internet. Come on George.

My head says that Eubank will win. He controls the pace of his fights much better than groves does. I’ll go for a stoppage in the 7th.

I do like groves. But for me some of his fights he has seemed flat for some reason.

Eubank late stoppage- He'll walk Groves down and stop him late on-If GG keeps it at length it'll go later rounds if he gets involved in a 'tear up' then he gets stopped 6/7.

Hoping Groves for once sticks to a game plan from start to finish and beats him easily by boxing him and moving in and out at range, he has the power to stop Eubank...

I'd love to see Groves win it, something I can't stand about Eubank.

That aside, tough call, I'm going to sit firmly on the fence. F**k it, I'm going to call Groves to knock him out. A huge ask, but he has the power although it'll have to be early on.

    Eubanks will win it
Can’t see it being close KO too

Honestly, the Eubank boxing dynasty is 30 years old, in its second generation and people still stick an s on the end.

Froch was a block of wood. Groves was the better boxer but struggles to maintain discipline and leaves himself wide open. I still fire up that knockout on YouTube from time to time in awe at the perfection of it.

Normally I wouldn’t bother with the PPV however I’m expecting this one to be quite good so decided to push the boat out. Fingers crossed!!

Well, I can't believe that Eubank fought that type of fight, he didn't deserve to win and was completely outboxed.

Eubank needs to get a job...........................

    Congratulations Saint George..............

Hate to say it. But I told you so. Groves is a boxer, eubank is a brawler and showman. A seed grows with no sound but a tree falls with huge noise.

Nice cheeky punt on Groves on points, nice one...

Did anyone actually manage to get a picture out of ITV Box Office?

Absolute joke. How any sports give them their events to cover is beyond me.

Reduced to watching on a stream on my phone. Groves seemed to have him from the off. Hopefully Smith gets through next week and we get another decent fight.

    Didn’t bother watching but

When I heard groves was winning I managed to get on at 1/5
    Happy with that
Wish I’d listened to you all and took 3/1 pre fight

Totally outclassed, can’t stand the Eubanks great result

Watching it in running via the bookmaker allowed 1/5 to lift funds
I’m happy as although Groves isn’t tip top he was certainly that far in front at that point he’d hold on

I was stunned to see Eubank is 28. One year younger than Groves. I think his arrogance has ruined him, too late to go back to the drawing board and come back. Not good enough for the top-level

Happy with the result. I was going two ways, this result or maybe Eubank had learnt from the BJS fight. I thought he may have another great to go into for a bit fight.. apparently not!

Yep perfect shot just when he needed it.
I hope junior gets himself a decent trainer, he has the tools to be a better fighter and is wasting his talent at the moment.

Comfortable win for Groves. Even with a dislocated shoulder for the last round

Froch was a true warrior, he won by force of will.
I followed him ever since the fight against Taylor, greatest last round ever, total heart.

I started watching it on my iPad then when the Mrs went to bed streamed it to the tv via my Apple TV, had no issues with picture quality through the whole fight.

    This ^^^

Niavity and his arrogance are to blame for his lack of progression to the top tier. He trains himself!!!! What is that about....

Good scrap, the right outcome imo, but tbh, the verbal punch up after the fight between McKenzie & Prince - who ate all the pies - Hamed was just as entertaining.

    To sum up:
Eubank Jr outclassed in every regard.
Groves not at his best but plenty good enough.
Eubank Snr honest about his son's performance (and that, I liked).
Hamed an odd, slightly drunk fat man.

Cus d'amato would say boxing is a test of will's, unless one boxer is so superior to the other that his will is not tested.
