    He was 'watching' the telly.

I think it’s a evolution of social media, back in the ‘good old days’ it was primarily a watch forum, now it’s sort of a Facebook alternative for members, no bad thing really, I enjoy the diversity.

I did have a watch on and I was reading the forum while watching top of the pops.

I was also looking at used Rolex on eBay but thought better about another post about rising used prices and went with the human league.

Phil Oakey owns seventeen Pateks, fourteen assorted Rolex models, and five Omega Speedmasters, one of which was supposedly worn on the moon.

    You almost got me.

Owning one worn on the moon just swung it.

Jeez, what a dreadful list, truly awful. How did Stevie Wonder and an ex-Beatle come up with the worst duet ever?

Apparently never actually meeting during the entire recording process didn't help.

When "Come On Eileen" first broke onto MTV in the U.S., I thought it was DREADFUL! Kevin Rowland looked (and sang) like he was mentally handicapped! But over the years, I have come to really enjoy it.

Must be feeling nostalgic quite like a lot of the songs in the top 10 :)

The year of my birth! My parents got me a CD a few years ago with all the number ones of 1982. There weren't many that I enjoyed! I tried to buy a birth year watch not so long ago too but that didn't go well.
