I have to ask, what's the plate?
Can anyone suggest a place to ring or email to get a plate valuation that does not involve giving all your details or calling premium rate numbers?
I have to ask, what's the plate?
I bought Mrs Draft a plate from Bold Registrations a few years ago and also listed a spare plate with them for sale (if any members have a significant other named Lou, Louise, Louisa it's a reasonably good one and price is negotiable...). I found them pretty good to deal with and the owner (name of Dan IIRC) was straight in his assessment of value.
I have been speaking to Phil McCarthy at Nationalnumbers.co.uk , 01642 363738 ext 203, who seems like a sensible chap. He is looking out for a plate for a Cobra we have.
Ring Pete

very helpful and straight forward and buys for stock if a nice number
tell him Tim sent you hes a personal friend
bought and sold with him
Regtransfers will usually give you an estimated value, which you are at liberty to chose, or increase as you wish.
Thanks guys, I'll follow these up.
I’m sure you’ll get a very balanced valuation on here if you tell us what the plate is. A few TZers have lots of experience with cherished plates. No harm in letting the cat out of the bag if you’re in the market to sell.
At this moment I just want a valuation. I'm not sure if I want to sell it yet but would like to know the value. Be assured however that if I do decide to move it on it will be offered on here before any other, such is my trust in this forum.
It is an Alfa plate but if anyone wants the full index please pm me.
Whack it on ebay for a silly amount, leave it a few months and see if anyone bites.
A guy I worked with for years runs Dragon registrations (Martyn)
you could ask him?
