And belt loops but no belt has more than whiff of Yewtree about it.

I appear to be very peculiar!
In my defence, why would I wear my watch on the same wrist I use to wield a hammer or write with? I’m thinking wear on a watch strap or extra shock on the movement. I wasn’t aware the opposite way round for your belt was an option?!

That's just weird. in days of yore you would have been thrown on the bonfire along with the gingers and anybody who had a squint.

Anyway. Have you started cricket training yet? Point Junior is back at his old club this year, and working on his inswinging yorkers!
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

I consider myself very lucky to have been born in an age where left-handedness doesn't make the rest of the town feel like burning me.

On a tangential note, back in the 90s, a colleague of mine would pass comment whenever he saw me writing.

"Oh FFS, look at the state of that. Couldn't you at least try and fit in with everyone else? Sinister."

Cricket news is that we have one vets match lined up so far with a promise of more. And there are at least three drinking sessions *ahem* planning evenings to discuss strategy.

Glad to hear BP junior is back on form. AO jnr went to colts practice last season but didn't play in any matches. The standard is quite high - their first team would smash our vets side.

I'll update the thread with village gossip and match reports as they come in!

When I started school, they tried to make me write with my right hand (this was in the backward sticks of Surrey!).

They gave up pretty quickly, but my writing's always been dreadful - I can't actually DO "joined up writing" any more - If I write I do so in capitals, mostly.

Fortunately my employment has required me to type, not write with a stick full of pigment

That makes two of us with this particular combination - looked like I was unique for a while...

I remember smudging all my written work when I used an ink pen. A friend of mine developed a strange downward writing style where his hand was suspended above the page. Not pretty.

Using the right hand makes sense.

    For writing I mean. Tut.

Belts can be like boot laces-get it wrong and get your throat/gut sliced open in the dark-your Sam Browne always points left!

Not sure why I wear my watch on my dominant hand. Just always have.
    Same as this.
