B-32 Dominator..

Thought the aviation history buffs might have a passing interest in this one. Not heard of this aircraft before.

Not many were made and the B29 had superior performance in most cases. The Dominator is known for one reason as outlined in the article.
A very sad story among thousands of sad stories during the war.
It kind of looks like a B24, B17, and B26 all rolled in to one design.
As a kid (1990/1991) I visited Kissimmee and in the junk yard was the rear end of a PB4Y-2, the aircraft from which the B32 was developed. I think they ended up using this part to restore a B24.
As an aside I own an original M422a jacket worn by a PB4Y-2 crewman on service during the war.

My Dominator was a rather gutless Honda trail bike, but it did feck me on a number of occasions!
