    its great for cleaning crayon off walls and cleaning stainless steel surfaces

    rubbish on bike chains and hinges - thats what oil/grease is for

    I wouldn’t use either WD40 or white lithium for external locks, because WD40 isn’t a lubricant and white lithium doesn’t repel dirt. A proper lock lubricant like Abus PS88 lubricant would be miles better for locks, squeaky hinges, etc. PS88 lubricates without attracting dirt and dust into the lock.
