    Help me get published?

As some of you are aware, I do occasionally dabble in a spot of creative writing, and I have been doing for around 25 years.

For the past seven or eight years, my main project has been "Domestic Stress" a novel-length tale of an IT geek who has an average life which falls apart when his life leaves him for their new cleaner.

In a misguided attempt to win her back, he decides he needs money, so devises a plan to defraud his friend and boss of a significant amount of cash. He is caught (of course he is!) and his hacking skills bring him to the attention of the security services who make him an offer - lifetime incarceration for the crime of cyber-terrorism, or help them defeat a real-life terrorist organisation. Before he knows it, he is in the Middle East, hacking into a bank to relieve the terrorists of the cash they need to carry out their despicable acts

What follows is an adventure through the desert sands, being chased by assassins, murder, intrigue and illegality abound as he tries to escape with his life. I have no idea what watch he is wearing, before anybody asks.

Domestic Stress is the first in a series of books, each dealing with a contemporary issue - terrorism, people-trafficking, drugs and gun dealing gangs and much more

Here's where I really could do with your help - I'm currently in a position where Amazon may publish the book, but only if I get enough "nominations" - nominating the book is easy, simply follow this link:

    https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/DVB6TXUVOYAJ

Log in with your Amazon account details (it's an Amazon site) and click "nominate". If I receive enough nominations, the book will be published and everybody who nominates it will receive a free copy of the book, supplied by Amazon.

Please do take a look, if you like the book, nominate it and please do share the details with your social media contacts - facebook, twitter or any other media you use - I really am massively grateful for any time you take to support me in this dream

More details on my writing, alongside excerpts from this book, the second in the series and a short story already published are on my website - http://www.walkerbrowne.com

Thank you for reading, and for any support you are able to offer

    Richard

    Congrats on getting this far!

A good tip is not to get offended by criticism.

Good luck - if I can remember my password I'll log in for you.

Done. Always look to give indie writers a look see. I've being helping an aspiring kindle author for the last few years with ideas and proof reading etc. The kindle platform has certainly opened up the publishing world for writers.

Done ... and you should give the protagonist a Timefactors watch, or even better a different one of Eddie’s in each book!

That is the worst tip ever. Awful. Really, really bad. Just terrible. Least best advice since the start of time. Opposite of great. Sheesh.

    Good for you!

Nominated accordingly and every best wish that it’s successful.

Trying, but i get an error:
HTTP Status 500 - The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

Will try again later from the desktop.

Done. Whilst it seemed to me that something wasn't quite right with the introduction to the main character (something that I'm unfortunately unable to articulate at the minute), it certainly hooked me, so job done!

Fingers crossed that you get published.
