Yes full length. 580s are best.
Gents,
I bid on a bracelet for my 1973 1675 off ebay and got booked on it.
The link is here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolex-Oys.../112707540328?
I am not an expert on bracelets...
A few questions:
*does it look in good conditions from the pics?
*does it look full length?
*it appears to have 558 end links. Will it fit on the 1675 or do i need 580 end links?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Eric.
Yes full length. 580s are best.
You need pictures which show stretch.
Verv will be along shortly to explain she is not a sir.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Ooops! Sorry verv!
Ok thank you Lee. Seems like i may have overpaid for the bracelet the at £550 with the wrong endlinks. Thought endlinks would be a lot cheaper. If it works out too expensive, i may just abort the whole thing and return the bracelet.
How can you return an eBay purchase if you don’t like or want it ?
Based on the pics, it was attached to a 5513 (based on Rolex invoice).
I found out that 558 end links were specifically made for the Explorer.
It does look as if endlinks can 'sort of' work with different models. I don't really like to have the non real thing.
Thank you again Verv. Out of interest, do you know if you can buy brand new 78360 bracelets from dealers and at what price?

This ^. Someone just bought a 34mm watch from me, 34mm clearly stated, he thought it was too small. Ebay automatically accepted the refund on my behalf, nice of them. So he has to send it back at his cost, but I don't get the postage to him back. Buyers market indeed.
Yes they should still be available. I think you'd be looking at over a grand if the 93150s are anything to go by.
I don't think the one you've bought looks bad.
I have cancelled the transaction altogether since the seller sent me other pics of the bracelet and there was way too much stretch. Plus i would have had to buy 580 endlinks on top making it uneconomical.
Thank you for the help everyone... it means that my search for a 78360 with 580 endlinks continues.
