    Bremont and Martin Baker affiliation

EDIT: Curious to see what other make of this - edited original post as I somewhat haphazardly gave the impression we should be attacking Bremont in some way.

    So what?

Space flights weren't without casualties. Don't see Omega worrying too much.

I'm not a fan of Bremont's marketing. I think I'd like their watches more if I could untangle the watch from the message. That said what they're doing is no different to what 99% of 'brands' are doing. Even so it's maybe a little unfair to draw any conclusions from it's affiliation with Martin Baker based on this.

So what is the point you are attempting to make?

To be honest, I'll never forgive Oris for the death of Senna.

No specific point to be made from me here, and if anything I agree with the comments re Omega. I was merely interested to see what the throng thought of this - I would imagine Bremont won't be backing away from any kind of affiliation.

No, I should imagine they wouldn't.
This is not a good result, but at the same time MB is a company with a good and well-deserved reputation.
They put themselves in harms way when it comes to designing, making and fitting such emotive, safety-critical items, ones that must work on perfect micro-second timing to be effective.
The fact that they got this wrong is not good, but the overall impact of the company's output is massively beneficial.
So I see no reason for Bremont to do anything else but continue to work with them.

    Absolutely agree with that.

These two marketing images were current at around the same time. I remember thinking how well one of them worked.

Not a fan of Bremont either, but does their affiliation to MB grow stronger every time someone is saved by one of their ejection seats?!

I think we've already covered this, see: Would you want to be associated with this company?.

the one that goes wrong is always the one the shapes our thinking, the thousands that go right do not..... one thing for sure, if I had to eject from a plane, I would rather do it with a MB than without..............

Who cares about watches, someone died. MB seats have saved countless lives over the years, aside from that the western military can hardly stop using them. What's the alternative mod the current jets to fit come Chinese or Russian items?
