Rolex and top end watches EC2 London

This must be a joke! I go past there twice a week when I head to business meetings. Full of secondhand over priced stock they cannot shift, citizen, undesirable watches from 10 seasons ago

This seems too much like “small beer” for someone to be framing them in an elaborate, double-agent forum reputation sting. Never heard of them until today myself. Thanks to “Pat’s” post, I have.

The jeweller sourced my Rolex and it was 25% less than any other watch dealer or jeweller i could fine. Even cheaper than duty free in Dubai.
Outstanding service and I highly reccommend this jewellers.
I'm baffled why people go to the big branded places and get ripped off!

Wow, I've logged in on my lunch break to a few messages... I wasn't aware you should upload a photo as you can see I'm new to this forum. I was under the impression it was good to share facts to others and help them out. I can only comment on the experience I received and I'm really happy with my watch (179174) and the service offered to me. I was told by a colleague this shop can source you watches and I went in and they had my watch in stock, along with a few others. I understand the staff in the shop can find you a watch as I believe they get them off other dealers but don't have all stock onsite.

In my above post I didn't mention.. my Rolex is pre-owned (so obviously cheaper) and it came with a 12 month guarantee.... I'm happy.

I don't know how to upload a photo, pls advise and I will/can.

On another note (or should I start a new message board)! Is it a good idea to get diamonds put round the edge (on the outside of the glass) or would it make it harder to sell further down the line when I upgrade it?? Not sure what to do!!!

Today I was offered a free watch from Jonathan Geeves Jeweller, in exchange I was supposed to advertise some of their products on this fine forum. Of course I declined because I am a person of high moral standards with strong will power. Just as strong as the rubber strap on my Classic Series Shock Resistant Casio G-Shock with 5 Daily Alarms, Lap Memory, Stopwatch and World Time features.

Don't put diamonds around the edge of the glass (a.k.a. fitting an aftermarket P.o.S. bezel), no.

Would you please tell us what you paid for this pre-owned 179174?

    Thankyou.

You would have thought that a jeweller in the heart of the City of London would be the last one who had to heavily discount.

Hope you don’t mind me asking, but your name is Pat, you’re from London and you want to add diamonds around your Rolex - are you Pat Butcher?

Just look at their Google reviews: very poor ones - until a couple of weeks ago, when a regular stream of 5-star reviews started. I suppose they either did it themselves or they paid somebody to do it.

Google reviews alot of the time are fake & are done by friends of the company in question.

I had a £1 coin delivered to me by mistake, I had intended to give the watch as a Christmas present but panicked when I discovered the value.
I now have a 4 week suspended jail term and must do 200 hours unpaid work and pay £200 costs.

Perhaps Pat was just a thicko customer who was offered a free 50pence battery for his Casio in return for a favourable online review.

    He messed it up.

I prefer the vintage pound coins. The single metal -
not the fancy two tone ones.
They are getting rarer - I haven’t seen one in months!

    Hold on...

    Mr. Sharpe”

    “...my Rolex...” “...my watch...”

    “179174”

That’s a lady’s Datejust. A little treat to yourself after the operation? Congratulations; we are a liberal, all-inclusive bunch here. If you stick around you will find extraordinary examples of equal opportunity in the Bear Pit.

Still waiting to hear what you paid for your watch, if you will share that please...
