This'll go well...
I found a fantastic jewellers in EC2 London, Liverpool St. Ive been looking for a Rolex for a good few months now and I was reccommended to Jonathan Geeves Jewellers in Liverpool St, EC2. www.geevesjewellers.co.uk.
The jeweller sourced my Rolex and it was 25% less than any other watch dealer or jeweller i could fine. Even cheaper than duty free in Dubai.
Outstanding service and I highly reccommend this jewellers.
I'm baffled why people go to the big branded places and get ripped off!
This'll go well...
Do you get double time on a Sunday?
Not much sign of Rolex on that website..... Casio, Rotary, Citizen, Tissot, Weil, yes.
That is great to know. What model was it? Are they able to source s/s ceramic Daytonas or SD43s at such savings?
My memory may be playing tricks, as I haven't walked past the store for a couple of years. However the most Rolex wise that I recall seeing in the preowned section tended to be a (small) handful of Datejust and Submariners, at the typical pricing for somewhere off Bishopsgate.
Hola & welcome to the forum, some photos would be nice
All you got to do is take a look in the window or pop inside for chat. You will either like the shop or you won't and it's no big deal either way.
I worked not far from Liverpool Street for over 20 years and there are many small specialist shops in the area so you never know.
I found a pound coin on the bus yesterday
I must make the 500 mile round trip to visit that splendid emporium, I just hope it lives up to your glowing recommendation.
Do business owners not realise that trying to hoodwink their customers will put us off from EVER buying from them. Utter madness!
Thanks for posting Pat.
Wow - I'll have to pop in there on the way to work tomorrow and get 20% off a ceramic Daytona !!
Nice post pat123. I walk past this shop daily and have had the misfortune of dealing with them. They are a bunch of cowboys, charge amazing amounts to do simple tasks like change batteries and then screw up placing the bracelet back on. On top the horrid lady serving my wife was exceptionally rude.
Complete joke of a place and if they need to come on here to promote, things can’t be going so well. Shame really.
Use this place at your own risk.
it would be a shame for this thread to appear in search results for http://www.geevesjewellers.co.uk/
Pat, I have some wonderful magic beans to complete your run of good luck.
Oops.
Anyone want to buy a pound coin?
Not sure how qualified to work on Tag Heuer they are if they can’t even spell it correctly.
You see the thing about high precision timepieces is that the fine details make all difference. Clearly on this basis alone, I’m out.

Pat, what was the specific model of Rolex that they supplied you with, for 25% less than you could find at any other jeweller?
How much did they charge you for it?
There is a great risk that your post will be viewed as a self-defeating attempt to promote the company if you don’t engage fully here. If it is not that, it would be a shame for you to have “hobbled” what you consider such a fantastic business by alienating everyone on the UK’s busiest watch forum.
Yeah, I mean if some Google’s “Geeves Jewellers Liverpool Street reviews”, you wouldn’t want them to come here would you now unless you can back up that claim?
Fantastic - great entertainment...
I suspect Jonathan Geeves is now realising there is such a thing as bad publicity.
Wrong time for Pat to be taking a Sunday afternoon nap....
If Trump can declare himself a genius, surely Pat can claim to own the world's finest Rolex emporium.
The men in white coats will be along shortly...
There's no longer a market in second hand Rolex after Haywood scared the c**p out of the busiest UK watch forum membership.

It would be easy for a rival business (or disgruntled customer) to start a thread like this...
@kingstepper I was thinking the same thing tbh.

I recently bought a Seiko Pogue that came with a service receipt from this place dated April 2013 and they charged only £68.95 which I thought was very cheap for a chronograph service. I certainly know that I charge more than that and I don't have a premises in central London to pay for.
The watch however was sold as spares or repairs and when I opened it up there were a catalogue of faults. I won't list them all as who knows what had happened to it between it being serviced and ending up in my hands, but when you see one of the balance wheels jewels has been oiled and the other is completely dry four and a half years after servicing it doesn't reflect well on the person/company who worked on it previously. You get what you pay for I suppose.
On a damp dreary Sunday, this was great fun to read !!!
