    Speedy Tuesday >>

Well I've had some time tonight to get some half decent pictures of my ST since it had the dial replacement quite a while ago now. Here are a couple of shots:

    Lume is perfect now:

The eagle eyed can see a mark around 3pm - but on inspection that caused by a smudge on the helasite not a defect.

Sometime I will complete a review of this Speedmaster but that will be another day.

    Cheers all

    Martyn

    Cool lume.
The sub-dials could nearly give an hypnotic affect.

What was wrong with the dial before, and how long lasting is the lume on yours?

There was a small part of the lume missing (see my older posts). The lume lasts fairly well but not as easy to read like a diver watch. It’s ok to read late at night - the pic above was taken with a full charge by a bright torch. .

I love mine. A nice different looking watch. That said I quite fancy the Panda dial on SC too!
It's just a matter of time...

That is the running second. It is moving so will disappear on a long exposure.

    Love the lume shot!

Mine was glowing on Friday night after I got home from a night out, quite a nice look even without being forcefully charged.

I actually find the lume a little underwhelming to be honest. The Blake Seamaster is much brighter.

Ah, makes perfect sense now. I think I will get the slr out and have a play later.

Phew ... you take a torch to bed, too. I thought I was the only one.

Nice lume shot! The luminous “Swiss Made” is great - is that specific to the ST?

White subdials on black face = win. Nice watch.
