SD4K dive extension link as rare as hens teeth

I have been looking around for a while for the dive extension link and cannot seem to locate one anywhere!
If a search on the web doesn't show anything I assume there are none about.
Or am I looking in the wrong places.

How much would one be from Rolex?

Why not post a WTB? Someone may be prepared to let one go?!

I think it's common for most owners to remove the dive extension, so yes a WTB may be worthwhile.

Mine came from WF minus the extension, put two extra links in which works great for me and fits perfectly.
Just been looking for one due to OCD as not a full set without one! Would not fit it but if one could be had for right money, think I'd buy one.

Will put a WTB on see what money they ask if any available.

Unlikely anybody will sell theirs as as you say it is then not a full set.
Worth a shout maybe but a long shot.
Cant imagine it being outrageous price wise.

Put a WTB out there, we will see.
If any one finds one on the web (or anywhere else) please let me know.
Don't mind paying a sensible price but will never use it and it will just sit in the box.

    Have you asked them?
I bet they sell a few sans extension so probably have a drawer full!

No I haven't, at the time I wasn't bothered (I actually get the two spare links of them) so it is an option.
Think an email is in order.

When you speak to WF, mention that you have seen their eBay sales.
Then ask if they know where your extension is?!

Total agree, that where I also got the spare links from, good money making racket which you would not expect from such as WF especially if they are stripping watches before they sell them on!!!

Had a look on their eBay page and must say they have a hell of a lot more for sale from the last time I looked and purchased two spare links!!
Also asked the question regarding missing extension.

Next time I sell a watch to WF all I will give them is the watch and bare box - sod if they are making extra profit for all the bits that make up a full set. Every watch I have bought from them has been incomplete and with Rolex I suspect in the wrong box too. Still if you want cash-converters they are good at that.

When paying the money they charge, which to be honest is at the upper end you would expect getting at least what should be with the watch.
Personally I think their descriptions are a bit vague, never mentions full sets.
With the amount of links on sale unless the watches are breading them, don't know where they all come from!

I think we can see exactly where they are coming from. What a cheeky bunch of bar stewards

If you look at their images, most watches have 5 links either side, which would be good enough for a child. I always demand as part of the deal that the bracelet be sized to fit a 7.5" wrist even though mine is only around 7". It usually gives me a spare link.

How many people buy an expensive watch from them and cannot get it on when it arrives.

They systematically list this stuff on e-bay. There must be good money made from the 18ct gold bracelet links.

If you’re in London pop into St James if not try and order via an AD if WF don’t give for free. I wouldn’t want to give them more and would rather buy the ext from Rolex for double out of principle.

I bet it's bloody expensive though.

I bet it's less than what those chiselers at WF are charging.

I doubt it. £50 on their ebay link, and a single link from Rolex was around £45-£55 dependent on model the last time I popped in fit one - I had one fitted to my 14060, as I'd lost one.
It's just a matter of time...

Ah, fair enough. Still, it's pretty scandalous that WF are apparently retaining these parts to sell separately.

    Well, dealt with the devil!!
Got no response to my question so went ahead and bought one for £50!!
To be fair to WF came very quick and easy to deal with, trouble is felt like it was always mine anyhow!!!
Nevermind, it's sat in the box and I feel better knowing it's there, strange this watch hobby!

Haha good effort on the hunt!
Did you tell them it didn't come with one when you bought it from them?

It was a present so couldn't complain!
All in all it cost me two links previously bought from WF and the extension link so not bad for a SD4K.

Thanks for the heads up on the thread gents, appreciated.

    Don't make it right though!
If a dealer sells a watch is it up to the buyer to ask if its sold as per supplied new ?
I think a honest dealer should be saying " watch sold less links, extension etc" but don't happen!!
Let's spend 6k plus on a watch and find it's missing an extension link that's worth £50.
Not good business practice if you ask me!!!!!

I’ve never experienced that over the years. Every dealer I’ve used over the last 20 years has always supplied full sets unless advertised otherwise.

Totally agree, there are a few dealers on this forum, what's your thoughts?
If it were me I wouldn't loss my reputation to make £30/£40 a link, surely profit margins are not that tight are they? Especially to the likes of WF.
All well and good if discription says bracelet to fit xxxx wrist.
