    iphone on 02

    Hi all

Looking at getting an iPhone replacement for my young son's iPhone 5, he is on EE at present but was out shopping today and found a good deal at 02 for the iPhone 7 paygo, question is if I bought this how easy or not doable is it to get the phone unlocked straight away so he could put his EE sim card in

    Thanks in advance

    It's on their website:

    Pay As You Go customers
If you're on Pay As You Go, your O2 phone can be unlocked 12 months after you bought it. It’ll cost you £15, which we'll deduct from your airtime balance. This policy might vary depending on which phone you’ve bought.

If the phone is a good enough deal why not switch him from EE to O2....taking the same number with him.

That would be the sensible option I guess but think my ex wife would put the mockers on that one for sure
