The bezel insert below was purchased from RSC in February 2017 and looks different to yours. However unfortunately I don't know if that is conclusive.
Bought a few years back as a spare.
Did a fair amount of homework at the time but have always been slightly unsure if it is a genuine Rolex item.
Did I make a good or bad call on this?

Sorry, doesn't look right to me. Those 2's look hooked.
On the 18 the bottom of the 1 is well short of the bottom of the 8 ... doesn't look right to me but I'm no expert.
Lee Fowler is probably your man for this question.
top loop of all the twos stands out as being overly large, and therefore incorrect.
To me, that is. Although I am not totally proficient on these.

Check where the blue finishes on the '8' both inserts are different here-
Have an original owner 16700 and insert looks exactly like this one I'll try dig a pic up
Id say not geniune. Looks like a 'hooked' 2 to me.
Aftermarket or not, its surely for a plexi model GMT.
Looks aftermarket...
Genuine rolex ones have a step on the back for better fitment i believe
Yup see it now :)

OP was asking on whether insert was genuine. In the light of the hooked 2 safe to say not original rolex insert.
See this post on aftermarket inserts and hooked 2's
I would say it's a 16750 (blue back) rather than 1675 (which typically) were red.
As for whether its pucker or not, I suggest looking first at a 16750.

My first thought was the two 4s looked different. I'm terrible at these things normally but this one has been fun to try see what people are looking at
OK so it looks like I was duped and I thought I had done my homework.
So a dent to my pride but fortunately not my wallet as I only paid £13 for it.
Thanks guys for all the responses and yes as deduced it was for a plexi 16750.
Anyone have a spare they are not using?
Rolex St James will fit one for £30-40.
Thanks for the tip and are they really that cheap?
Problem is I just want the insert as a spare and I don't think they will supply a bezel insert unless they fit it.
I know I could take mine out before going there but it is a valuable insert and I don't want to damage it.
They’ll swap it and give you your old one back for £55.
Out of curiosity, why do you need a spare?
100% aftermarket and if you want a spare I have some available but you will not be able to purchase one outright from Rolex UK.
Just out of interest............comments made on the way the red joins the blue between the 1 and the 8 of 18.
The first pics is from a 1984 Rolex catalogue and the second one from a 1986 Rolex catalogue.
Apologies for poor pics but I hope you can see the difference.
Also the insert below is described as genuine Rolex but aren't these hooked 2s?
