I've no idea why they do it but it'll probably mean the older version is now worth twice as much.
Bought a brand new Hulk and when I compared with a 2014 Hulk i noticed that there is a clear difference in the font type used.
Didnt know about this...and I prefer the old type of font used
The new one looks more bold and white.
The writting looks bigger, making the dial look busier.
Left one is the brand new Hulk, right one is 2014.

I never knew about that either. Those Series 1 LVC's are the ones to have eh, prices gonna rocket!
Or the first one is a fake.
....Joke - that was a joke :)
In the world of Rolex it probably means more money!
Strange ... wonder why they did that ?

There are always subtle changes throughout the production of dials, I presume its when one set of dies for printing are exchanged for another
Cyclops look different too, the one the left isn't as strong as the one on the right - which would confirm Rolex taking the piss with QC is a fact.
Yes I’ve noticed this on the used ones for sale. The font and the spacing between 300 & m. Suptle differences every few years. On the old LV there were font variations also over the production years.

Just noticed the same font change on 114060.
