    Hum.

Just thinking out loud. Should I sell my 116600 to get a 126600? Can’t really justify both in my little collection.

I have an inclination what I plan to do but just throwing this out to the forum if you were me?

    I wouldn’t but only because I prefer 40mm to 43mm.
They’re both great watches whatever you decide.

Just buy what floats your boat the most and only you can answer that.

The price of 126600s seem to be sliding down, so why not hold on a bit.

Me too, having tried a 126600 on. Just too thick for my liking, albeit far better proportioned than the DSSD.

Thanks guys. . . I chose the 116600 for a reason and think I’ll be keeping it. It’ll be interesting to see what these fetch in 20 years time (30 years time it’ll be vintage, but I’ll be pushing up the daisies).

Have you managed to try one on ? It may help the decision if you actually handle one.

The 126600 is my favourite modern Rolex.
Never been that smitten with the 116600.
    Your wrist though!

No chance. This week the 126600 is in the safe and the 116600 is getting long overdue wrist-time...

Another vote for the 116600 from me. It was one of the best watches in the Rolex range.

SD4K is the one...amazing piece of kit and such low production numbers means it has to be the investors/collectors' choice

Or you could go the other way and trade it with me for a 16600!

I think SD4K vs SD43 all depends on wrist size. See if you can try one on.

Agree with that 100%. Low production runs always means the prices will outshine the more common models.

Add another vote for the SD4k here too. I have a green sub and love it, but the cyclops just feels wrong on a sea dweller. Too derivative. I’ll keep the 4K long after all my other watches. Feel it’ll be a collectors piece in years to come.

4K for me. Wish I’d purchased one new when I had the chance, but saw it as too close to my 14060M in my small collection.

126600 for me. We’ll proportioned case especially relative to thickness (4K wear tall), newer better movement, red writing, Matt dial similar to 4K, lovely bracelet befitting the watch. A lot to love about it.

I've thought about swapping my SD4K for a D Blue as it is just a tad too small for me.
Only thing that's stopping me is I think it will be a future classic and also a super bit of kit.
Not a fan of the new one and now the hype is dropping off prices are settling to where they should be.
