I myself enjoy the variety of goods available in sales corner.

If you don't like what's being offered, don't click on it.

A subsection specifically for watches? No doubt I'm similarly late to the party and it's been suggested but not implemented a thousand times before. Sorry.

(Not that I'm really entitled to comment because I can only view at present but not post).

Does anybody else wish that SC was exclusively for the sale of watches? Even though I am not actively in the market for a new watch at the moment I do enjoy browsing SC in the odd chance that something takes my fancy. It is also good to keep up to date with current market prices. I definitely do not go to that section of the forum to look for anything non-watch related nor would it be my first port of call when selling a non-watch related item.
I know I can (and do) ignore these posts but sometimes (like right now) they take up a large percentage of the first page.

I’m on another forum where they have recently split out their for sale section - and imvho it’s now a pain in the ass!
It's just a matter of time...

you can wish all you want but only one person can change SC - and he seems fine with it as is.. There have been countless similar posts to yours, SC remains unchanged..

Don't see that changing any time soon. While there is demand for tactical used shoes that were bought in the wrong size (but still used - go figure), or old smoking jackets then they will still proliferate.

Can't say it bothers me too much, sure there are a few repetitive sales posts for cameras etc but sometimes there are leftfield interesting non watch items on there (interesting to me anyway), The Mats Larson sheepskin lined army coat from WW2 was a recent one IMO.

I find it quite entertaining and keeps turnover in there good. Don't know why, but I look at a lot more of the non-watches compared to the actual watches for sale.... Like "golf clubs.... ooooh, interesting", even though I don't play golf.

I've always liked a bit of a rummage though.
