Good looking watch...until you get to the silly self-marketing in the lower dial. Why do companies do that? :-(

I know baume can divide opinion but I think its a decent looking watch, the price however is another thing
I really like the watch. Silicon balance, free sprung with variable inertia weights, 5 day power reserve and a chronometer. That's a lot of horology. I happen to like the baumatic name too. It's like a playful nod to all those cheesy names given to automatics in the 60s. This is such a great candidate for the reliable, classic, do anything 'good watch' that was the norm back in the golden days of mechanical wristwatches.
I like it bar the writing at the bottom ('Chronometer' would have sufficed) and the flat hour and minute hands.

Elegant, I can think of better ways to spend the money though.
