A use of the search function would have told you this is really a bad idea.

What exactly would I search? If its a bad idea, then maybe a mod can delete it.

I think it's a great idea and I'll start with this possible Rolex fake. I'm not 100% though.

This has all the signs of a fake. A real Micky Mouse watch wouldn't have "ROLEX" written on it.

I can't tell you because the fakers could use the knowledge.

    Really?

Wow, so your original thread idea then - do you intend blocking fakers from reading anything that might suggest to them how to improve their wares?

    This won't end well.

BTW - there are no "mods" only the boss. Always best to know the lie of the land before launching this sort of thread.

I’m ashamed to say I buy these Aldi’s rip off Nespresso pods. But half the price and near as makes no difference taste the same.

I asked the lovely Sharon from accounts payable here if I could take a picture of her recently updated jugs, but she's being all funny about it. I'm afraid you'll have to take my word for it.

It would seem the gist of the problem with fakes are those that are not good enough to pass off for the real thing. The test would be if the manufacturer thinks its a fake or not.

Getting a feed on my facebook account showing someone close to me with brand new Tag Heuer Carrera quartz and wallet gift set for £35, nicely in shot is the box with a selfridges sticker on it. Yesterday it was a Bvlgari caliber 303 and belt set for £35.
Dont know how he gets away with it.

Just got this from local FD. Only cost £9k+, runs on batteries, guaranteed till I left his premises. I was told he may be moving shortly (next day I believe), but if there are any problems I can call his mobile and the boy in the shed in his back garden who actually hand makes these pieces will make me another FOC. Whats not to like,

I once paid good money for what i thought was a pedigree dalmatian from a reputable breeder.
It was only once i got it home did i realise it was a terrible fake.
