Meh, if it's not a Rolex I'm not interested
Just gauging interest, no promises...
Trying to get an idea of what might tempt the most participants to part with their cash in the New Year. All of the watches are in great condition. The PRS-36, PRS-82 and Tissot Visodate have been owned from new. All of the others have come via this forum.
Feel free to post a comment about what might be popular and bump the thread, the more survey responses the better.
Cheers, Matthew

Speedbird for me I think.
Fantastic selection Matthew.
I’ll be in touch.
I vote for that JW Benson that I shouldn't have sold to you.
Alternatively the Speedbird. Great gesture at this time of year.
Wonderful selection of watches. My vote is the PRS 36.
Nice selection but it's the Seiko SKX009K for me.
Speedbird would be nice
PRS-82, happy to get this going with £100 bid
Meh, if it's not a Rolex I'm not interested 17%

Some likely contenders emerging. I'm slightly surprised at the strong showing of the Seagull 1963 compared to a couple of the others, but that shows what I know and indicates that this is a worthwhile endeavour. It would be nice to get around 100 poll responses for a good sample size.
Seagull 1963 for me. Beauty in its own class.
I'd love to take part but all of the charity events are listed through Sales Corner and I don't have access to post there. Just a comment, I'm happy to contribute to good causes. Good luck.
Best of luck to all involved.
Other than individual auctions I list all of our fundraising activities through Watch Talk or George & Dragon for this very reason (plus I'm not too bothered about members who only frequent SC taking part). I do my best to publicise them without going OTT but I know that they are sometimes missed by members who would have liked to support. I'll happily receive suggestions for how to better promote them to achieve the best results for the charities.
This year the funds that members here have helped us to raise for children's cancer charities have topped £8K (not including Gift Aid), which has exceeded our hopes and expectations by some margin.

Topped the 100 vote target and it is neck-and-neck between the PRS-82 and Speedbird III with 18.63% of the votes each. Very close behind is the Seagull 1963 reissue at 17.65% and then it's Meh with 16.67%. With the top three taking close to 55% I now have a pretty good idea where the interest lies. Thanks to all who have taken part.
Still a tie at the top so I've tossed a coin and it's going to be the PRS-82 up for grabs first. Watch this space.
Just in case anybody has missed it...

The PRS 68 is my Grail watch but it was not on the list so I went for the SKX and as I live in France the French date wheel is icing on the cake so a no brainier there for me.
Speedbird for me
