    Tudor "Greenbay" Harrods Edition! Incoming

So today I collected my Harrods Tudor Black bay! The watch is an absolute beauty! I got the call for this around 1-2 months ago, when I was told by my contact they would be getting these and I can choose my number. Unfortunately even by then, most numbers were gone, so I ended up with some random number (21) but who cares haha.

Retail price is £2630.00 and you get VAT back ofcourse if you live abroad. Cracking watch at a great price!! Well done Harrods!

    Some photos of the Nato:

    Some initial thoughts:

The bracelet tbh isnt great, this isnt unique to the Harrods edition but its my first ever Black bay and the riveted bracelet I cannot get a great fit, particularly i cant remove enough links on the 6 oclock positon. The minimum is 5, like the 5 digit rolex references. On my daytona I can remove to 4.

Many small details that are super cool, like the tip of the seconds hand is dark green and the 200m inscription is green also.

I think it looks really cool, but it's definitely aggressively sized on you. I require one more link removed from the 5 digit Rolex bracelets as well due to my small wrist. Perhaps you could buy one of the better looking old style BB bracelets and remove a permanent link from that one. It would be the best of both worlds.

Just to check - are you including the SEL in that count? The final link on the 6 o'clock side seems like it can't be removed at first but in fact it can be if you remove the clasp foldover to get at it. I am at 4 links + end link at 6 o'clock.

I had never considered this due to the bracelet's short side length. This is a really high quality contribution. Kudos!

Assume this is only for the rivet bracelet? Couldn’t see how to on my BBT

Even though it’s not my style of watch, I do find that rather elegant.

Rolex Oysterquartz (17000) SS beater; Cartier Santos quartz in steel/gold for dress wear; Audemars Piguet Huitième chronograph in yellow gold; Glashütte Original Senator Excellence SS; Glashütte Original Panoreserve SS; bated breath for arrival of Stowa Flieger.
    Need more . . . .

So just over a 100 watches turned up yesterday afternoon. Up to a two year wait for new comers.
You can no longer handle the prototype due to people taking wrist shots then listing on chrono24.

I like that a lot. My red has virtually not left my wrist sine it landed on the mat.

    Enjoy

Thank you ! it’s my first tudor and i’m pleasantly surprised at how high, the quality of the fit and finish of the watch is. I know it’s a Rolex brand but at this price point including even the amazing in-house calibre is an amazing watch. Really liking it.

I really think it's a great colour combination for a great looking watch.
The green and gold works well. Although I have to admit if you had suggested the option to me without a picture I would have said yuk. Shows what little I know.

Well senility is obviously setting in...
I modded this watch for SWMBO years ago!

So it shows what little I know, I don't even know what's in the watch box.

I will admit that Green black bay has the edge though.
    :-)

One of Tudor's best looking watches. It's the bezel's shade of green that works so well.
