Pre CAD and many years ago I used an A2 Rotring desktop unit. White with an orange slide, which had a single guide on the lhs of the board. It was great, in its time...
Gents, I知 in the market for a small (A2 or A3) desktop drawing board. It痴 going to live semi-permanently on my desk so solid construction is more important to me than light weight and portability. The new ones seem plasticky and flimsy. My first thought was to look on eBay for a used/vintage item and indeed there is a selection of large/freestanding ones but nothing much in the way of tabletop models.
I would appreciate any recommendations or advice as to where I should look and models to look at.
I do have a cheeky WTB thread up too in case anyone has something suitable gathering dust that they want to move on.
Thank you.
Adrian

Don't think you'd go wrong with that one.
I just sold one of those for 25 quid on gumtree
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Oh poop, you know when you click on a thread and you think I now need one too, where as before it was not on my radar.
Brings back memory’s of college, managed to cope all these years on a desk or a clip board. I want one now.
Actually glad clicked on the thread now.
