BT/Openreach have certainly been active up here today. Stood around man holes and scratching their heads.
I not sure whether it the snow or shrinkage of fibre optic / copper pipes, but it seems t'net has slowed down a bit as of few days back.. Is it me or anyone else experiencing it as well?

Just as shite as it's always been here.
Just ran this, and speed about the norm.
Always pretty good for living in the sticks!
The speed is actually fine, ping on other hand is fluctuating between 150 and 300 which drives me b mad since it feels like the only thing I'm doing is looking at

^^^^ nothing more frustrating
Not the wifi, but the telly keeps pixellating and 'glitching' on all four sets in our house in the last couple of days.
PING has the lowest priority on an IP network and is only really useful for determining if an end device is reachable, the response times themselves are fairly meaningless.
If any router on the path between two devices is very busy then the PING may be delayed or even discarded. Similarly, if the end device is busy it may delay or discard the PING. Hence the differences in PING response times.
