It’s quite horrific, those fire fighters are really putting their lives on the line.
What’s the chances for your family’s homes surviving this time?
My wife’s family all live in Santa Barbara, Calif. They’ve been breathing noxious fumes for days, and now had to evacuate downtown. Nine years ago all their homes burned to the ground with little time to evacuate. At least this time they have had some warning. Hopefully flames may not spread - but the area burned so far is larger than the state of NY. 6000+ firefighters are working on getting the fires under control.
Here we are complaining about a bit of slush - spare a thought.
Cheers.
Martyn.
