The DJ41 design seems a lot more balanced to my eye with the fluted bezel - the smooth one seems overly dominant but without enough to say for itself.
GMT hands down.
Steel and black, sports model, classic.
The DJ41 is needlessly bloated and will age badly imo.

Even the DJII looks a little smaller on my wrist, so the 36 would be lost.
I think it's just a very nice watch, and it probably gets the most wear pout of all my Rolex watches at the minute.
It's just a matter of time...
Same here, the 41mm seems to be my favourite. Not planned, just happened. It's somehow so 'right' as a design. Nothing 'forced' or dreamt-up to titilate the market.
DJ 41 is a lovely watch but personally I prefer the GMT.
has to be the GMT, you will find you wear it day-in-day out.
Maybe the older guys have better taste.
Never understood the appeal of sports watches. One or two are OK in a collection but that’s about it for me.
Datejust would get my vote every time unless I was spending twice as much and could buy both. If I was buying new I’d go for the smooth bezel/Oyster bracelet, but I prefer the fluted bezel/Jubilee look on the older pre 2006 models. Classic Rolex look.......the older guys know best
