    First snow of the season!

A light dusting in west London this morning, has to be the first snow for at least 2 years.

    Cheers

I always have mixed emotions.... the loveliness versus the practical realities.

From the window, but need to get back to London at some point today.

It's beautiful and it's very quiet as there are no buses running and no traffic

No snow here in Cumbernauald but it's -4c staying around that until tonight. Was -6c at 8am.

Had snow a few weeks ago though.

It's been snowing here but none settling, thank Gawd.

Been out with Dot this morning and she couldn't wait to turn around and go home which suited me fine after getting dripped on by all the trees.

    We'll see what happens overnight.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

I declare fake news! There is no snow. All the photos are from elsewhere or last year. It's cold and damp outside and not a hint of snow.

Shropshire hills about half a mile from a tarmac road. Now cut off. Bugger.

Just got in from my drive North to South. Amazingly did it in 5hrs, which is about normal for a Sunday, went slower than usual, but traffic was light, so no hold ups. Snow definitely heaviest in the midlands, but the worst bit was the last couple of miles of M1 before the M25 and the M25 to M4, like a bloody ice rink, sideways cars everywhere, really needs gritting before the morning rush. Glad it's over and i am now warming up with a glass of red

10 inches here. And more on its way tonight and tomorrow. I suppose that most people will stay at home and work from there... I will give it a try with the 4x4 CR-V. What's the use of a 4x4 if you don't use it!

About 5 inches here in the West Midlands, caused chaos since Friday, still lightly snowing now and supposedly temperatures of -4 deg overnight and no higher than -1 deg tomorrow.
The morning rush hour should be interesting around here.

According to the Dutch Weather Bureau, the snow is 34cm / 21 inches high in my town. My Canadian wife is getting homesick...

    First snow of the season!

Last snow melting away due to heavy rainfall (showers). Next bundle of snow expected to arrive on... Christmas day.

Finally a pic taken earlier this week. The street where I live.
