Thread: Best way to post a watch to Europe.

  1. #1

Best way to post a watch to Europe.

I have been asked to quote for sending my Ploprof (listed on SC) to Europe.

I have always used Royal Mail in the past but with their insurance now restricted to £250 this is not an option.

    Any tips?

Apologies if this subject has been covered before.

Can’t really help, but I was in a similar situation last year and gave up in the end. I think the best quote I got was DHL but even that was eye wateringly expensive. Be interested to hear if you find anything 👍

Would any of the 3rd party brokers insure for the full value?

I’ve used transglobalexpress and postagesupermarket to ship things and had no problems

    Definitely DHL,
I sent my GO to Denmark recently with them and it got there next day,!!
    Insured by parcelpro though.
If you use DHL let them pack it as they need to see the watch.

Thanks guys - I'll update thread when I have sorted it.

    Updated............12 December.

Watch sold to a UK buyer but the best price I came up with (DHL) was £130 to include insurance to £4000.
